Really need some advice on which would be best to go for.
I seem to just about make up my mind then the next review says buy the other one! lol

I wear glasses and am a fairly big guy, wondering if the rifts controllers may be a bit small for someone with big hands?

Or maybe he means the vive pro but that is still fairly overpriced even if the quality is there.

Expand on 'bigger guy'? They're both headsets you wear on your head that will fit big noggins.
I haven't tried the Rift s controllers but if they're anything like the CV1 then they'll be fine. Same with the OG Vive.

I'm 6'4" with fairly large hands and have used comfortably.

The rift s has no external basestations to track you as it's all done inside out and being only a month old has better optics than the vive which is now 3 years old (I've had the vive since the start).

If you can get a second hand cheap vive that comes with the base stations it'll lead to a cheap upgrade path to the Valve Index or Pimax headsets that use the same hardware for tracking.

Im a big guy (6'7") and ive had no problems with any VR (had a DK2 and i currently have a Rift S but ive used an original Vive as well)

Only issue ive ever had with height was setup on a couple of games. Dirt rally put my head through the roof until i worked out how to reset the center point (moving the seat wasnt enough) and Onward thinks my waist is around my nipples because i cant set my height to be high enough. both more than easy to work around or live with.

Oh and ive punched my light in my office rather more than i would like, play space limits dont help with the roof.
