I received my S at the first week of launch. Being a glasses user, I already had a suitably small pair of glasses that I could use in the S.
What I hadn't counted on was the apparent softness of the lenses, and 3-4 months ago, my S had picked up some surface abrasion in a small spot towards the middle of the lens.
To say that I was rather unhappy would be an understatement.
Either way, I promptly ordered a pair of VR insert lenses from the German group, and they've made things not only more comfortable, but also eliminated the issue of further potential abrasion.
Of course that did rather leave the issue of the existing mark on the left lens.
At least for myself, I found the solution, and thought it worth mentioning here. A small tube PolyWatch plastic, a cotton cloth and 2 mins or circular rubbing later and I can't see the mark at all.
Awesome. Clearly that stuff won't work with deep scratches, but if you have the same issue as myself, it's worth a try.
