Hello Everone,

I'm kinda new to all this and i need advice if this rig is viable in term's of the psu. I have checked this build on several psu calculaters and they all say it should be okay. However my friend at work says. I will be needing a psu with more juice.

Any advice/guidence will be welcome.

Thanks.

Hi.

I have deleted your link as it contains many competitor names and prices.

Just state how much you have to spend and what you need so we can spec from ocUK:)

Ah, i'm sorry about the link.

In total my spend will be about 1400 all in.

I have some components bought already, including the psu which is the rm650 from Corsair.

Must have's for me is the ability for a wirelss connection and i'm looking to have GTX 760 4gb in 2 way sli.

do you have a specific need for 8gb of VRAM with 2 mid range cards?

If not then it'd make much more sense to go for a 780 :)

I think you have underspecced the PSU then for a pair of those in SLI.

750watt would have been wiser.

Welcome,

Well Thats not a good start...

They contradict each other.

The RM650W isn't enough for 760SLI.

Secondly 760 SLI is utterly pointless a single 780 or R9 290 would be a much better choice.

I see. Then im going to have to have a rethink on what to do.

I can alway's look to upgrade at a later date.

Thanks for your help Stulid

Would appear i made a bit of a mistake.

I'll take a look at the GPU's you suggested.

Building a pc is harder than i thought it'd be. Too much choice. :D
