Hi there folks,
Been a looooong time since I put a rig together and would welcome your thoughts on the basket below... Also first shot at water cooling which should be entertaining; then again may have this built by someone else (especially as it's essentially an extension of the rather nice http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-454-OE)
It's a rig for some casual gaming and as the main workhorse for some serious virtualisation malarkey. Hence the 32GB memory. Quiet and cool is the aim of the water loop and I was thinking 240 rad at the top, 120 at the back with the 200 pre installed fan pulling air in. The D5 res / pump mounted at the side plate at the back of the Evolv front fan. I know the rads are a little thick but think they should work in positions due to offsets in the top. Might not need the 120... Thoughts?
Couplings and fittings are a little bit of black art tbh though I was thinking acrylic... Would I also need a separate flex drain point?
m2 drive for system and system images and the 850 Pros striped for apps and storage speed (it's backed by a chunky NAS).
The GTX 980 Hydro Copper is going to be driving a Samsung SE790C @ 3440 x 1440. No need to SLI as I'll wait a few months and get a Titan X (when I need to clear more of my top line )
Would prefer the EVGA X99 Micro (Socket 2011) Micro ATX DDR4 Motherboard I think though it shows out of stock at the mo.
All thoughts welcome
