Right angled schrader tyre valve extensions

Anybody use them? Can you leave them on? or do you have to remove them after using them? Ta.

Yeah I've used them for the last ten years. As they're metal and not rubber they're good for a long time AFAIK, no need to change them all the time like normal rubber ones.

Thanks, I was just a bit concerned about the balance of the wheels being put out by leaving them on.

Sorry just noticed you said extenders in the title! Ignore me I was talking about the 90 degree valves.

I'd definitely remove extenders as it's extra stress on the valve itself.

Remove them OR you can get angled valves.

I used to use schrader valve extensions on my old car which had steel wheels rather than alloys which made doing the tyre pressures difficult without the extensions.

I just left them on all the time but they were standard ones not right angled if that makes any difference.

If you grab a couple of cheapo adapters and extension attachments and keep them with your bike, it'll save a bit of hassle.
