I want an iPhone!!!

I have jsut got an N95 8GB from 02 and ive stuck it on eBay for £270.00.

I want a 16GB iPhone for about £340 delivered which is possbile on eBay (unlocked).

IS this a good price... and any recommendations on the iPhone i.e cases, apps etc.

Buy it from an o2 shop or a CPW, no waiting around, no delivery charge. And unlock it with ziphone, its a free program, one click and it unlocks the phone, takes 5 minutes, no coding, no hassle. Did this last week, well chuffed. Dont bother with ebay.

As far as cases go it depends, a lot of people love the kind of cases which cover everything in rubber or plastic, which is fine if you're down with that, but I prefer to use my iphone on its own, but then put it in a leather slip case when in my pocket or what not. eBay Beyza Iphone case.

As for apps, this is confusing even more, if you're going to put more apps on I take it you want to jailbreak it, which you will probably use ziphone for anyway! Go and buy it from a shop and have it tomorrow morning!

Edit - Regarding apps, I use iSketch really, not much else.

As said above, just buy it from the apple store online! £329 for the 16gb version, and once youve jailbroken it, you can use your own sim card in there

How much is it off O2 without a contract?

8gb £269
16gb £329

you dont actually choose an 02 tarrif until you register with itunes at home (if you wanted, if not then jailbreak it).
therefore all youre buying is the actual iphone, when you buy it from apple/o2/CPW

edit: heres the info pasted from o2 website

O2 website said:
iPhone tariff selection
When you activate your iPhone with iTunes, you'll be asked to select from the above range of exclusive O2 tariffs specifically for iPhone, only available with an 18 month minimum term agreement. All tariffs include unlimited data enabling you to get the most out of your iPhone. Excessive usage policy applies.
iPhone is restricted to use on the O2 network unless you are roaming. If you do not enter into and remain in an airtime agreement with O2 on one of our tariffs for iPhone, you will not be able to use the phone functionality of your iPhone. If you attempt to unlock iPhone and use it on another network, it may become permanently unusable. Making unauthorised modifications to the software on your iPhone violates the iPhone software license agreement, and the inability to use your iPhone due to unauthorized software modifications is not covered under your iPhone's warranty.
Our standard voice tariffs are not available for use with iPhone.

It was 10 weeks ago...like 3 days before they announce the 16G iphone.

Thou the reason i got the touch is i thought the iphone has to come with that ridiculous contract. And I don't want a contract.

Ah well.....
