right section? - Vista memory issue

Got vista ultimate on a dell 630i pc. running x4 core cpu and 8 gig ram. Was running 4 gig and we got memory management issues. changed to 8 gig, same errors.

Been told its a known issue in Vista and should be fixed with SP2... we hope.

But there is mention of a hotfix, but i cant find it on google or microsoft.

Anyone point me in the right direction please.

This patch, which was later embedded into SP-1 fixed the only memory issue I am aware of. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777

Can you be more specific about what problems you are seeing?

Seems to be sometimes within 10 mins of the pc being on, or 2 hours in to photoshop the PC will come up with a Memory Management Error - then reboots.

Very anoying. changed the ram, run a few fixes, doesnt find anything, on some forums, seems Vista has a memory leak issue that might be fixed in SP2, but not 100% sure.
