i had an old 2.1 speaker set-up and one of the satellites kept cutting out.
i wanted an upgrade so i bought the aego m system which i thought would solve the problem but the right satellite keeps cutting out too.
when i pull the cable from the back of the sound card and replace it the speakers are both on again (for a while). it will also come on again by itself sometimes then go again.
so would i be right in saying it's the sound card that's giving me the problem.
am i looking at buying a new one. the sound card is maybe 5 years old.
