Hello again :p , since my pc is playing up, 9 Hours FFTs Stable, 9 Hours of Blend Stable and Memtest no errors. Then when i go onto the pc to do something, it restarts itself. Everything is fine at stock, so its the overclocking causing the issues.

So im going to start from the beggining. Lower the Multi, slowly increase the FSB and lower the Memory so i can rule the RAM out.

If at a point Orthos fails as in comes up with a error, what does this mean, what will i have to change in the BIOS? Am i right in thinking when im running Orthos and the PC restarts, i need to up the Vcore?

I hear a lot about people talking about RAM Dividers and changing them, how do you manulally change it?

you can leave the muliplyer as it is for now, leave the vcore/cpu, memor voltages as auto to start with.

check the motherboard manual if you still have it, the bios section it will identify what the RAM Divider is called, it can vary slightly from board to board in my experience.

Do you best to run the ram at its default speed (to start with for u're 5300 its 667, the crucial should be ok for between 900-1000 eventually once the fsb has been set at its highest stable setting) then slowly increase the fsb.

orthos fails then it has issues with the overclock, cpu, memory and chipset(northbridge) voltages can be changed to help stabilise the overclock, when you start to up the voltages keep an eye on u're temperatures and make sure u're northbridge heatsink is warm but NOT too hot too touch.
