Bought my Xbox 360 on the 14/02/2007 Ring of death Today 07/04/2007
Not impressed
Phoned The company I purchased it from, Was told it was over the 30 days since purchase and to Phone Microsoft, A bit blunt I thought!
Box is being picked up next week, hopefully.
How long do they take to repair?

Phoned them back again to clarify their Policy, same answer as before.

I imagine your looking at 5-7 days turn around from when you send the console out to getting it back.......

As for the 30 day bit....Anything under 12 Months should be covered by the store.....Outside 30 days you wouldn't be allowed a refund surely but you are still entitled to a repair or new unit?

Sorry to bump this up.
They took a little over a week to send me one back after I sent mine off. Only had it back literally one week and got the ring of death so this one is going to have to go back as well!
Stupid MS!!!

Anything under the 12 months you should make the shop give you a new one. By sending back to MS you'll just keep getting refurbished consoles back with a much higher chance of it breaking down again.

Stick to your guns, take it back to the shop and demand a replacement.

Wish I could take it back to the place I got it from.
Bought it from a well known island off of the French cost.
Can't mention the company on this forum, but will never use again.
Just as well I took out the extended warranty, looks like I am going to need it.

Good job I never sold my PS2!

Agreed it comes with a 12 month warranty, take it back to the shop, they are responsible for the replacement.
