Hi,

Just got a play and charge kit. charged it up fully (using pc) and i've noticed that when i put the rechargeable battery pack into the controller the quadrant that it's assigned glows slightly when the controller is switched off. It also does it on my spare controller where the 2nd quadrant glows slightly.

anyone elses do this? maybe i have a duff battery pack? or is it supposed to do this?

i know the controllers are ok as neither's light glows when i put normal AA batteries in. i'm a little concerned as this will obviously drain the power quicker than it would do if the light didn't glow.

thanks in advance.

Mine does it too, battery life is still very good though with the rechargeable pack so the drain must be negligible.

Same here but doesnt seem to affect battery life, its a very dim glow.

that's cool. thanks guys. at least I know that it's not just mine and that I haven't got a duff piece of kit.

Just had a look at my controller wondering what you're all on about, couldn't see any glow. I turned all the lights and TV off and then saw the glow, all four quadrants were faintly glowing :)

Slightly off topic but is there anyway of telling how much charge youve got left from the battery pack???

Press the guide button and it shows a battery life indicator in the upper left corner ,its fairly small and can be easy to miss.
