Just wondering if anyone still has theirs? I've had it for years now :) and it's been a great player, completely outclassed now adays mind.

Today was my first worry, I got the usual hourglass animation while walking into uni on the player. Unfortunately I didnt have a paperclip with me to reset it.

Skip a few hours later and got home, and the player was off and the battery was drained, and the hard drive was whiring and beeping (bad noises generally)

I was thoroughly gutted, but thought, may as well try the smacking method. After reading up on it I ended up giving it a hefty whack on the right side and lo and behold she lives :D

I'll be sad to replace her when she deos pass away, so I'm currently saving for a mac book and ipod 30gb :)
 
Mine was fine until it was six months old or so, when the lockups became a daily thing, and the wheel broke.

Managed to get a full refund and bought a 20GB iPod, and it's been perfect for coming up to 2 years now.
 
The Karma is not completely outclassed by new players... infact it prob beats most them all re functions and sound quality. However, its plagued by hardware errors :( Id replace Harddrive as you not going to get a better sounding player!
