never heard of her (probably because of my filthy job stealing imimgrant stuff) but anyone leaving such a legacy in my favourite music behind will be sorely missed. RIP

Aww, fond memories of being at one of her sets at the hidden disco at Bestival years ago, and realising the big dude next to us dancing away was Carl Cox, sound guy too!

Yeah, I listened to her I guess in the 90s, so when she left I was thinking she was just too old for Radio 1 (aka 40s), but I think she must have been in her 60s at the time.

Great stalwart for new music.

I hope she went up as her age now and not a young girl.

An interview originally published in The Herald in April 2004 stated that he admitted to sexual contact with "an awful lot" of underage girls. He said that the only available women in the early 1960s were in high school.
