Along with David Coverdale, Marsden co-founded Whitesnake and co-wrote hits including Here I Go Again and Fool For Your Loving, before going on to enjoy a solo career.
This is very sad. Only yesterday I put on Live in the Heart of the City as I was out with the dog. I had no idea at that point he had passed. Surely some of his finest moments on that album. A nice and humble man. He had a great understanding with Micky Moody and they understood what dual guitars needed to be to sound good without inane widdling. I wonder what will happen to "the beast", his 1959 Gibson Les Paul that seems to be one of the finest examples.
