Brian Wilde of Last Of The Summer Wine and Porridge has died, aged 80.

It has been years since I watched it but I thought he was pretty good. Preferred him in Porridge I think.

And yes 80 ain't a bad run.

According to bbc news now he was only 80. Shame, really he was great in Porridge and LOTSW
