Just finished watching Smokey with my 10 year old daughter for the first time. She loved it to bits!
Agree with all the sentiments posted. Burt Reynolds, is one of those names that you instantly associate with Hollywood and the walk of fame.
If someone asked me now which actor is held in the same regard, a similar AAA movie legend - I do struggle nowadays to call out one (male actor).
Whereas when I was younger, I would instantly reel off Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Eastwood, etc...

Yep, gonna have to dig that out. What a film! I used to love the opening shot with the black Lamborghini and the out-takes at the end. RIP Burt Reynolds.
Completely agree.
I think that old Hollywood will nearly be dead soon. I don't just mean the actors, that style of Hollywood is no longer continuing.
