RIP Burt Reynolds

I think Wesley Snipes' tweet said it best:
10-4 Bandit ... nothing but open road for you now ...

Cannonball Run - what a movie - seen it so many time I can almost act it myself.

Going to watch it again for old times sake.
Hell yes - fantastic film, one we watched so many times as kids it's a miracle we never wore the tape out ... the bloopers on the end titles remain one of the funniest things ever committed to film

RIP Burt.

He coulda been a contender if he chose the right films, the potential was seen in Deliverance, he turned down
Southern Comfort to fanny about about crashing cars in Cannonball Run.

Watching Cannonball Run 2 tonight :D I even got my lobby card and press pack out :)

Agree with all the sentiments posted. Burt Reynolds, is one of those names that you instantly associate with Hollywood and the walk of fame.

If someone asked me now which actor is held in the same regard, a similar AAA movie legend - I do struggle nowadays to call out one (male actor).

Whereas when I was younger, I would instantly reel off Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Eastwood, etc...

Yep, gonna have to dig that out. What a film! I used to love the opening shot with the black Lamborghini and the out-takes at the end. RIP Burt Reynolds.

I think that old Hollywood will nearly be dead soon. I don't just mean the actors, that style of Hollywood is no longer continuing. :(

Heh! Youtube comments: "Notice all young people; This is proof that there was a time when the world was cool-you missed it!"
