he was still in the opening credits this last season just aired, but he only appear in few episode each season for awhile now plus sometime only showing via video call type not in actual person for few minutes.

McCallum was known for his roles in films and Tv series such as The Great Escape, Mosquito Squadron and NCIS.

I saw this earlier :(

Many fond memories of him in The Man from UNCLE and a number of films as a kid, and then NCIS (although I stopped watching that a fairly long time ago).
 
RIP - I’ve not seen any of his earlier work but he was and still is a legend in NCIS.

I’m sure if the writers get back to work we will see a huge tribute episode to him in the next season.

RIP. I remember watching Sapphire and Steele as a kid and the first episode was very kiddified then the next one, which was about a WW1 soldier in a train station was creepy as hell as a little 10 year old kid. I never really liked anything else he was in.
 
First remember him in The Man From Uncle, used to love that show as a youngster.

Even had a toy TMFU spy cigarette box!
