RIP Eddie Jordan

Just seen this pop up on my feed too. Cant say its surprising news, he's been suffering the big C for some time now. I'll admit I was never a fan of the guy, he loved a controversial point of view just for the sake of it, but he was a character and a half! There is no denying that he was one of the stalwarts of the sport. Those Yellow Jordan cars have been forever printed on my memory of that era. Sad that we have lost another from that generation.

His legacy will live on, remember last year when McLaren ran a yellow livery, I lost count of the number of times the commentators said that it's not a flashback, it's not a Jordan on track.

If we race, if we two race, we could end up with nothing, so it's up to Eddie. If we don't race each other, we've got an opportunity to get a first and second, it's your choice."
 
I wouldn't have liked to have sat on other other side of the table from him, but absolutely would have loved to shared a story or 10 on the same side. What a character and an asset fo F1. F cancer indeed :(
