This man is indirectly responsible for starting me on the path the becoming a confirmed boob man back in the late 70's, by virtue of his Lucile performance in Cool Hand Luke. And for that I thank him. RIP

Mentioned this to a friend last night. Great character actor. Instantly recognisable to people from my generation. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is a great film but George Kennedy was a right nasty piece of work in it.

91 is an awesome innings and a great body of work to be proud of. Cool hand Luke, Thunderbolt And Lightfoot, Airport, Naked Gun, The Eiger Sanction, Ghost Ship to name a few...
