RIP Graham Taylor

Sad news. I thought he was a decent bloke. He had a bad experience managing England, but did not deserve the total media hatchet job that he suffered. It was disgraceful. Particularly the turnip picture. It led some animals to even spit at him in the street. He was a great manager for Watford, taking them from fourth to first division in just 5 years. Amazing management job. Also bringing through good players like John Barnes and Keith Curle. I don't class 74 as old either. RIP Graham.

Will always be remembered for that documentary and the immortal words 'do i not like that'.

Always seemed a decent guy and one of the old school managers.
 
R.I.P no success as England manager, but how many England managers have been successful? He was very successful at club level and people should remember that.

Indeed, he was awesome at Watford.

Didn't he also get Villa promoted and did well in the (old) first division as well? No denying he had a good career at club level.
 
One of the best managers we ever had, taking us to the first division. Such sad news, I didn't know he was ill or struggling though?
