RIP Ken Ishiwata

RIP Ishiwata-san. Marantz has always been a halo brand for me, and I'm sure that's because of his work.

I have a CD-63 II OSE somewhere in the house. Couldn't quite afford the KI-sig.
 
He was very well regarded in the Hi-fi Industry, he had made a contribution to getting CD into the mainstream way back in the 1980's.

Big fan of Marantz kit and Ishiwata made an impact in HiFi that will be remembered.
