Right,

I just installed Win7 onto my Little Amilo Li 1718i and it ran fine for a few days like it should. then went to start up Speed Fan and Boom Laptop completely Froze. for 4 hours so i physically powered it off, went to power it back on and BOOM Screen not showing ANYTHING, HDD Spinning Fan stops after 1 second, and well LEDs light up, other than that its no ****ing good.

Rest in peace little fella :'(
 
All i get is a whush of the fan for a sec then a very faint whisper from the HDD, Imma Salvage the HDD and the RAM and CPU then night night i guess :(
 
Right i downloaded a program which is supposed to be SpeedFan and well i guess if wasnt. -.-

So when i executed this program my Laptop crashed, heavily with no return and then i turned it off and wont Boot, im guessing this is a Virus/Malware, and i need some halp any ideas?
 
I wouldn't say it would be either of those -- if it won't even boot to POST, then there's not really any chance for a virus to run :/

Or do viruses completely corrupt your BIOS these days? xD
 
Tbh it could have killed my HHD and BIOS or just disabled them I dont know but is there anyway to stop the normal boot sequence?

Or am i best of Removing My HDD and putting it into my New Pc, if its compatible, its a WD 120GB HDD
 
Its fixed!!!
Problem was the HDD gathered carbon on its pin and it stopped reading so i just gave it a wiggle and boom hay presto ! Back to life Wooop.
