RIP MSI GTX 970

This is why I went custom loop over AIO. I check my fittings once a week to make sure they are tight, with an AIO you just hope they are tight enough. About 50kg of pressure to get them to come off. no d5 pump is going to do that.

+ there isn't any coolant going to peel away a PCB like that. If a leak occurred you could clean it up good enough to not notice any damage aswell. If a leak occurred with the system off it's likely everything would be ok.

I'm sure corsair would support you as this is no fault of your own.

In the future I would get an air cooler. Minimal chance of damage. I don't trust those AIOs personally. Definitely not now after seeing this...

I wouldnt go so far as to say AiO are risky but if you have the cash to splash, a custom loop is great!

If you dont want the hassle of changing cards over and dont have the room for a full size loop then grab:

GPU block (universal or full cover)
QDC's for the block
Radiator pump combo.

May be more expensive but will be rock solid, have unbeatable performance and is more convenient than an AiO unit if you decide to swap out the card for a new one (gotta love those QDCs!).

OH GOD I AM AM VERY FURIOUS AT YOU CORSAIR IDIOT!!!

Corsair Damage Claim emailed me UPS prepaid label for me to printed out and I dropped package to UPS access point then checked track number a few mins ago:

Glasgow, United Kingdom 09/11/2015 18:35 The receiver states the product was not ordered and has refused the delivery. / The package will be returned to the sender.
09/11/2015 13:37 Collection ** Do not mention competitors **
Glasgow, United Kingdom 06/11/2015 16:07 The shipment has been dropped off and is now at a UPS Access Point™.
06/11/2015 16:07 The UPS Access Point™ location has prepared the package for return to UPS.
United States 29/10/2015 13:31 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Why corsair paid me around £50 for UPS Expedited then refused delivery after UPS scanned parcel label at access point????

Corsair now changed delivery destination so I send reply on corsair ticket complaint they refused delivery. I hope they realised their stupid mistake then they could change destination back to United States and approved delivery without send parcel back to me.

Hope corsair rep read this!

If parcel send back to me then I am still not very happy with corsair created a huge mess at their own expense. I would not bothered to sent parcel again if corsair will screw up again, they owed me a new parcel, new prepaid label, new corsair cooler and new graphic card!

Edit: Just noticed here is a new activity on track:

09/11/2015 16:01 The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.

Dates and times are all messed up.

Been talked to Corsair Live Agent, she not sure what happened so she will email to Damage Claim to sent me new prepaid label.

Oh god unbelievable!

I seriously hoped parcel are ok to sent again after heavy raining and gales.

I am stunned to see new activity on UPS track:

NORTH LANARKSHIRE, GB 10/11/2015 14:04 The receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made.

What a pack of lies UPS delivery guy put that in track status!!!!

UPS labelled me as receiver????? RUBBISH!

My mother and I are at home all day! There was no knocks, no doorbells and surprised surprised no UPS infonotice posted in front door!

I used UPS calculator and found out Corsair paid about $218.43/£144.46 for UPS Expedited delivery weighted 10 pounds max.

Corsair product,are all rubbish.

Corsair don't make AiOs, they just stick their name on it. The company who make them also make the same cooler for other brands and they seem to get solid reviews.

I guess Corsair shift the most and you mainly see thread on faults and complaints, so the blame is put on corsair.

All my Corsair cases have been beautiful and wonderfully built. The Obsidian series are solid and of great quality, while the carbide series are cheap yet of good quality and have many mounting options. The Carbide 540 is amazing with air or water and is dirt cheap and the design is great, clean and convenient.

Noticed track information updated next scheduled delivery on Monday 16 Nov.

Something not right, I chatted to Corsair customer service agent asked for head of customer service and CEO Andy Paul email addresses I want to sent complaint about very poor experience. Then asked why did corsair refused damage claim delivery but agent told me corsair didn't refused delivery and it never left UK.

Guess UPS updated track with false informations so I emailed to UPS customer service to complaint about false data feed into my track.

Look like I will take a break to wait few days until Corsair update me with news about my parcel whereabout. Think corsair told me the truth and UPS is absolutely disgraceful courier company.

Thankfully never had a problem with my AIO but I got worried and went full custom loop happy I did too

Agreed that Corsair cases are very solid - can't fault them.

Though I distrust the AIO water coolers, if you're going to water cool, a custom loop is the only way to go imo. Even then you still run the risk of a leak, though much less likely if you build it well.

Wow unlucky dude hope you sort it all out, been thinking about a aio for a while now think I'm gonna go for a 212 and just buy 2 fans too put on it

Oh god UPS are unbelievable fraudsters scums!!!

I just received parcel back from UPS delivery guy and saw "NO INVOICES" wrote on parcel, noticed parcel was been opened as I assumed UPS opened it to inspected it. I opened it and see 3 invoices still inside.

Shocked to see failed delivery cost Corsair £259.

I will report it to Corsair ticket and UPS customer service.

I wont have a rest until after I caught the name of UPS employee who wrote false detail at local UPS sorting office and report them to either UPS head office or UPS Fraud dept.

Hey man, I would guess this is something to do with US Customs, rather than UPS. I recall similar tomfoolery when I RMA'ed my OnePlus a few months back.

All couriers have pretty bad customer satisfaction rates. The company i work for has gone through all of them and we are now back on DPD. They are one of the better ones now. If your courier was yodel, you can expect the same AiO to come back to you and with a few more leaks with it!

The individuals on delivery are usually to blame but I suppose you can also blame the companies for letting the standards of their employees get this low.

Find out why exactly it got stuck. If it was customs then you should have been notified.

I don't think it something to do with US Customs as Corsair told me delivery never left UK. UPS picked up parcel at UPS access point in Wishaw on 9 Nov then dropped parcel at UPS Customer Center in Motherwell and stuck there the whole time.

UPS told me somebody at UPS Customer Center will speak to me on Thursday about parcel issues. They will have hell a lot to explain.

Im in the UK and just had my h100i leak over my 780 ti, Im sending gpu, mobo, cpu and cooler to the Corsair Damage Claim address in California tomorrow, I hope I don't have similar issues.

On another note did anyone see that ups video on reddit front page about that guys custom engine?

Athlon, when the damage team emailed you the shipping label was there an invoice attached to it also? Mine had an invoice attached to the email detailing the 4 parts being returned and that their value was each $15.00, that has me a little worried also. This was attached to my email they sent me along with the shipping lablel http://imgur.com/mtC3X3x maybe im reading it wrong and thats the cost of the shipment...... not the value of the parts?

Im also considering moving to air btw, my first h100i pump failed and now the replacement has done this http://imgur.com/a/7LGsx

This happened on the 9th, 1 day before fallout 4 released, to say I was angry is an understatement, I have been looking forward to that game since I 100%'d fallout 3 and new vegas years ago
