Perhaps you want to put a bit of a bio in.
I wasn't aware who this was, he apparently was in the teen drama true blood.
Then more recently in elementary.

I haven't seen him in any of his roles.

It certainly is a shame to see him pass, he was a very talented actor. I just hope that the next few days don't see the reason changed from "heart failure" to "heart failure due to drugs" as I am rather sick of seeing in recent years.

He was probably the best "side" character in Elementary by a long way and it's a shame that his dedicated story-line won't be completed now.

Nah, alcohol withdrawal doesn't cause infection and the kidneys to shut down as the article claims.
