RIP Paddy Hopkirk

Bit late to this one, I do remember watching a show about his Mini not long ago, I think they even visited him. I cant rmeember the show now though....so annoying.

R.I.P. He seemed like a true gent.

From an era when rally cars were recognisable as a breathed on road car and the mini a true breath of fresh air. He was a spectacular driver to watch at every event he entered. I was twelve in 1964 and a fan of most motorsport particularly rallying.

RIP Paddy

I had a mate who worked at longbridge and his Mini had a few bits on it from Paddys Mini - Last years kit but not engines.

My god that was a long time ago
