RIP Robbie Coltrane

RIP.

I didn't realise he was quite as old as that. Many great moments throughout the years.

"Ahh...Dr Johnson! Damn cold day!"
"Indeed it is, sir, but a very fine one..." :D

For someone so famous I actually haven't seen him in much, often guest roles like the above Blackadder appearance outside the obvious HP. I loved him in the final Frasier episodes playing Daphne's brothers along with the great Richard E Grant.

Depends how old you are really. He was in lot of stuff as a bit part player. Probably around the mid 90s he got bigger.
Was in James Bond : Golden Eye /World is not enough.
His TV series Cracker was very popular back then, I remember watching it as a kid, it was probably the thing he was most well known for as a Brit, but obviously Harry Potter escalated him as a world known actor with Hagrid, easily his biggest part.

I'll always remember him as the doctor who dropped his sticky bun on the young ones when they were on university challenge, right before feeding them to an elephant that was in his room. Somewhat surreal.

I don't practically rember his comedy shows but certainly Cracker. Used to watch that when my dad had full power over the remote control.

I'm not even 100% sure he was in this, but I seem to recall a sketch where he was the host of a game show.

It had a jingle-like catchphrase that was repeated at various points throughout, "...You're a lucky *******". :D

Wish I could find that somewhere. Maybe it was something around the time when he worked with Fry/Laurie.

Edit: Can't believe it, just found it after all these years. I'm sure it wasn't on YT when I last checked.
Also features John Sessions. Ahh, I think it was 'Laugh??? I Nearly Paid My Licence Fee'.
