Damn, another one from my childhood gone.

used to watch this big dude when I was younger. First, when he played Zeus opposite Hulk Hogan in No holds barred, and then actually wrestling him at Summerslam 98.

A few years later he played the superb role of the neighbourhood bully Deebo in my favourite film as a teen, Friday. He was also in the fifth element.

One of those guys who is not particularly famous, but instantly recognisable. Looks like Covid got him. RIP Tiny.

I remember him best from the John Candy vehicle "Armed and Dangerous". Probably a terrible film, but I loved it as a young teen. Probably not unrelated to the scene where Candy is spying on Meg Ryan in her skimpies.
Anyway, I digress. I can still picture him screaming "Dooley!"
 
I remember him best as the President of the federated terriories in the 5th Element. Rest in peace Mr. galactic president. :(
