Any other Static-X fans here? They're one of the bands I got into way back in about 2000 and I've always had a soft spot for.

There were rumours it was drugs but his band mates/promoter are saying he "passed away in his sleep". Either way a huge loss, I was really looking forward to seeing them as they'd just released UK dates

Yeah sad news Wisconsin Death Trip got me into alternative music pretty much. Didn't much like their later stuff but the late 90's early 00's albums were great Industrial.

All the guys in Korn are now in their 40s too. Seth Putnam of Anal **** was 43 when he died 3 years ago.

Getting old man. All my childhood idols are dead or dying.

Just read about this, always liked Static X, 'Machine' is 1 of only 2 cd's in my car. I just love the riffs of 'Permanence', and 'Structural Defect' is an awesome dance tune.
