Probably a bit before most people's time here on this forum. She was up there and a massive star back in the 50's and 60's. I mostly remember her from slapping a cop back in the 80's when she was stopped for drink driving. Which she poke fun of herself afterwards in the opening sequence of The Naked Gun 2 1/2:
