I have been pondering on a ram upgrade as I have now gone the I5 2500k route with an MSI GD65-B3 board and given all the different opinions on ram volts for SB I wanted to play safe....
But I have this G.Skill ram.. (2x4GB)

Now I left it on auto settings and it was set at 1600 cas 8 1.6v so after some tweaking I got it to 1600 7-7-7-24 1t on 1.5027v and everything is spot on.
I am curious if any one has a set of similar early ripjaws that they can get to similar settings? Also a family member has the 2000mhz cas 9 version so I will be nicking them from him and seeing if I can get 4x2 GB at cas 7 1600 1.55v.
