The Tom Ripley books are brilliant - and while the Talented Mr. Ripley movie was good it did suffer from the casting of Matt Damon when he was over saturated.
Got around to watching this finally and can see why it won a Emmy, visually it's beautifully shot even for being in black and white, sound design was good too. Story was decent and the catch and mouse style of this at times reminded me of Catch me if you can.
I really enjoyed this and find myself thinking about it occasionally. Really well shot and acted, well done to Netflix for doing something a bit different for once.
