Ripping Adobe Player Videos

My girlfriend is trying to watch 'webinars' for her course on an iPad. Unfortunately they are (as you would expect) in flash format, bane of the internet. She logs onto a site that takes her to adobeconnect and plays the videos with the Adobe Flash Player applet thing.

Is there any was for me to rip these from the site and convert them to mp4 for her?

Why do you need to convert them, if you download them can't you play them offline with an Flash player?
