I have a job to do for work which requires me to rip audio.. I've tried Total recorder.. which has worked for me in the past but it now seems to echo when recording/playing back.

I can't figure out how to use VDub.. so does anyone know of any decent software that will rip audio from MPEG/AVI/MOV files??

Thanks

Not an expert with Virtualdub but, run Virtualdub, open your .avi file. Then click File>Save WAV. Then pick a location to save to and click save. A .WAV file with the audio will be saved.

I could kiss you guys... really I could lol!

The main problem with Vdub was that it seemed to not recognise the codec used to encode the video.. so I quickly converted the video and its sorted.

Thanks a lot!!! :)
