ripping inbedded sounds from ms word

I have a pda (xda 2i) which i used to record a few sounds, but it embeds them in a note file.

On my pc, word can load these and play the sounds, but i really want to just have the sounds (in mp3/wav/whatever)

Is it possible to rip them?

Well...all I could suggest is that you do File > Save As... then pick HTMl web page, then go to wherever you saved it as and open the folder with the same name as the file you saved....and see if it shows in there. Might be a .wav file.

So close! it saves as a .mso file

Bummer, I've just checked google but it's no help.
