rise of nations gold resolution stuck

At 1024 x 768 and it wont go higher then that

My graphics card a 7800 cs agp

And my monitor a sync master 940bw 1440/900 normal resolution.

It only seem to be this game and i also updated the game to the max.

( there a fix but i cant find my rise2.ini even after doing seach lol

easiest way to do it is to go to C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Rise Of Legends, open up the personal.ini file and change these lines:

Windowed Width=1280
Windowed Height=720
FullScreen=1

to whatever you want them to be; there doesn't seem to be any Fullscreen Width/Height lines, bizarrely, but that should work.

You may need to change

AllowAllResolutions=0

to 1, but I'm not 100% on that.

and i dont have rise of legends ( may have look into buying that hehe

i playing empire earth 1 atm instead atm lol

was going to get 3 but it seem its crap from what the reviews say

edit: Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations and open up 'rise2.ini' 3 guesses what's on the first few lines ?

Windowed Width=1024
Windowed Height=768
FullScreen=1

But i did a another seach and still i cant find it lol

It dont seem to be on my harddrive lol i dont know if its cause i have RoN Gold version ? maybe the file name bin changed in that ?

That's strange, have you got a C:\Documents and Settings\(USER NAME)\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations folder ?
Also, what's in 'data' and 'thrones and patriots' ?

woot the seach found it this time lol

it was hiding in

C:\Documents and Settings\Gothic Ghost\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Rise of Nations

going to change

AllowAllResolutions=0 to 1 i think that will sort it

If not i will change the way you said

( i think it was cause the file was hidden and only when i change the options to look in hidden files it showed up lol
