[12-05-2017] PC Patch notes for patch 1.0.811.3 (Patch #13)
We have just released the thirteenth PC patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider, build 1.0.811.3. It adds support for playing the Blood Ties game mode in VR with an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift VR headset.

Sadly it's just a walk around, point'n'click affair. Very nice of them to add it though.

I quite enjoyed it.

Things like this are important as it gets the creative juices flowing, which is what VR needs.

It didn't work for me

Came up with some crap about I needed to unlock the VR version first by playing the game..

It unlocks after you complete the first area, Syria? Only takes ~10mins to do if you don't have a save game.

Guess it teaches me for buying games in the steam sales and never playing them

Now they found a way to force me to play them..
