Hi. I'm trying to create some core temperature threshold settings so that my HD4870 will use different fan speeds at different temperatures. I'm using Rivatuner v2.22 to do this. I can create the fan profiles no problem and have added them to the application/preset launcher.
However when I go to the hardware monitoring section and click on setup - core temperature - setup, I don't get a little green cross icon from which I can add my profiles to. I don't know why, has anyone managed this successfully?
Thanks.

Once you've created the fan profiles and given them the associated launcher then go to the scheduler tab and set up a schedule for each fan speed. Job done.

If you enable the hardware acceleration plugin, and set the statistics server to launch at windows start up, too you can create a schedule for your overclocking profile when a 3d app starts. Its done in the same way.

Hope that helps.

Ah ok...so I've created a second scheduler task to "launch <fan30%> on hardware monitoring threshold event <core temperature 70 degrees upward>"

Hopefully that will do the trick.

Thanks for your help. :)
