Rivatuner as many of you will know allows for you to easily overclock the memory and GPU on your graphics card, my questions are,

1. Will OCing Memory/GPU at what Rivatuner deems 'optimal' cause the hardware to perhaps break more quickly?

2. Generally will overclocking in this way void one's warrenty? I know warranties can vary.

I've just managed to get 7977 3dmark 06 score vanilla, but with Rivatuners optimial settings that went to over 8800, i'd like to stay at these settings but only if Im certain its safe and wont harm my machine or warrenty.

just keep an eye on GPU core temperature..... if this climes think about better cooling.. heat kills, increase speed will increase heat....

Increase core voltage will increase heat, always improve heatsinking if you volt mod.......whicj is another way of enabling further clock speed improvements.

If rivatuner optimal is not causing high GPU core temp, leave it there and enjoy better frame rate.....

as for warranty, oh yes, if card breaks they could claim the O/C caused the failure.... OC at your own risk...
