Rivatuner - Saved to card or OS?

If I overclock/underclock my card, are the settings saved onto the card or the OS?

So for example I have a dual boot system, If I boot into OS and overclock my card then boot into OS 2, Will the overclock still be on?

I believe its software based until you flash the cards bios

So I should be able to have 2 different clocks? Sounds good to me.
