Ok, im getting really good clocks on my Sparkle MX440 128mb, currently at 378/425 and stock is 250/330. Problem is that the slider bar is at the max on rivatuner, anyway i could get it to go higher, its still got lots left in it on the core, but i need some ramsinks on the mem, dont like anything past 427. Thanks.

Have you tried any other overclocking programs? Maybe try Coolbits or Powerstrip to see if they allow you to go any further, it may be that Rivatuner is limiting you for your own good though.

ok will try those, atm im running 378/425 and getting 4027 points in 3dmark01se.

rest of system

t-bird 1.2 100fsb
256mb sdram
mx440 128mb 378/425

i'm sure there is a setting in rivatuner where you can disable the safety feature. but as mentioned, it's probably not the most sensible thing to do..... :p

He's right.

Correct there is setting to override rivatuner, BTW coolbits will only let you go 25%, its only a reg entry to get coolbits really and if you needed another 25% (total of 50% overclock) you add "bart" instead of "coolbits" to registry, but Ive never heard of anyone needing more than 25%, are you cooling it with nitro lol.

Your going to No swearing! your gpu btw and is it even 3dmark 2005/2006 stable at current overclocks.

Cheers for the rest of the info, I hadn't heard of 'Bart' before but to be fair it is a Geforce 4MX that Xplo is running on a fairly old system, I'm not sure that 3dmark05 or 06 is really necessary here if they would even complete since most of the tests will probably fail due to lack of features. Maybe 3dmark01 or 03 would be worth a shot though.
