RJ45 Keystone Jacks?

Hey all,

I need to pick up some parts to sort out the wiring in my house. It has a pre-installed white box thing where the fibre connection comes into a modem, and this has the shell of a patch panel running along the top in front of where the wires come into the wall

Presently there are 4x Cat5e cables coming in but all are spliced together using 2 pairs of the cable only for telephone points, but I want to turn 3 of them into Network points

Can anyone tell me what the proper name for the modular blocks you buy that would clip into the patch panel shell and provide an RJ45 connection to plug patch-leads into? A bit of Googling suggests that what I need are some "RJ45 Keystone (punchdown?) Jacks"... But what I can't seem to find is any info like - are they pretty generic/universal? Or do I need to get a specific type?

Cheers

Thanks :) So the difference with the "toolless" is that (as implied) you don't need a punch-down tool to connect the wires to the terminals?

Does it work well in practice? Or are they more trouble than their worth and you may as well just go with the kind you have to do yourself? (I can borrow a push-down tool from someone if I need it)

I wish I could go with Cat-6 but sadly the cables were already installed in the walls by the builders (they used 2 pairs of a Cat-5e cable for the telephone points, which I am going to turn some of into network points)

Cheers though guys, think I'm sorted now
