Hi everyone

I rebuilt my old PC this week using a Ryzen build as its a dev rig but as of this morning im getting no graphics output whatsoever

I have tried the usual CMOS tricks, i have swapped out one of the RX560s to test an old Nvidia card, still nothing. The RX560s have Crossfire disabled as that will kill output, the system was running perfect for the last 2 days since setting everything up but no matter what i try and what i replace (i had spares to swap for most parts) I cant get any graphics

The reason im looking at the PSU now is that on close inspection there is a very feint clicking noise coming from it, like its struggling. Its every 4-5 seconds and has me concerned that the PSU is defective as i read a some reviews from users saying they have had it die inside a week or a month and that the PSU can have faulty capacitors

If anyone can offer any insight to maybe the PSU being the root cause here or any other suggestions i'm happy to try as I really need the PC operational

Regards
Barry

1st thing i'd do is Google paperclip psu test.

Agreed, this is the first troubleshooting step other than using a PSU tester. You will also need to make sure to connect a case fan or other visually identifiable device that will power on because the RMx series has a Zero RPM fan which won't kick on. The PSU Paper Clip Test is also listed on the support page under the knowledge base, and if you run into any trouble, you can submit a ticket through the same portal for one of the technical support staff to assist.
