Heya all, need a bit of advice on where to go from here regarding an RMA of my HIS X1900XT.
I RMA'd it after 5 months due to the fan rattling and it being sold as "silent".
OcUK received the card nearly 2 weeks ago and have confirmed it is faulty.
I have not been given a time scale for replacement.
The reason i would at least like a timecale is because the computer this card is for has critical modelling programs on it that i need for my dissertation. If they can't replace the card in the next week or 2 i am gonna have to buy another and i find that unnacceptable since I am without a card due to a manufacturing fault and not my own.
I know the law states a replacement should be provided within a reasonable time scale and i feel that anything over 2 weeks is pushing it considdering it renders my PC unusable. Just no one seems to care :¬/
Cutting to the chase, what are my rights in terms of getting a suitable alternative?
What's the best way to go about it?
