I bought the Roccat Ryos MK Pro a few days ago and only noticed today that the "R" key is roughly 30% dimmer than the rest, Not sure if I should RMA or not or if I even can as the box for it was thrown out by mistake :(

*EDIT*

Nevermind it's just started flickering, Hope it can be RMA'd without the box :(

You binned the box/packaging of an item you have only had a few days?:(
At the very least you should have kept it a month imho
Anyway hope it works out well for you :)

I always bin my boxes as well. You must be able to rma it without a box surely. Worst case they can return it with no box?
Ask in the cs section

But after just a few days?
c`mon ,I can see that not everyone has room to store boxes for months but binning boxes after just a few days?
regardless I do hope you don`t run into any trouble RMA wise :)

See I share a house with a work friend and he's moving out and when he was having a clear out one of the things that go thrown was original box along with a few other things in bags.
Tiz quite annoying

can't imagine they care about the original box at all, they just need it protecting in transit. even if they reapired it and sent it back, they probably wouldn't use the box you sent anyway.

I do mean the actual Roccat box packaging not the parcel if that makes any difference.

As of this morning the "R" LED went out completely :(

You don't need the box to DSR it, but you'd have tp pay the postage to return it and won't get the orogonal postage cost refunded to you.

I'd raise an RMA as a faulty item and return it that way, regardless of the box. They will then pay the postage costs.

Thanks a lot for the information, Lightened my day :)

As someone said, you don't need a box to RMA / return an item. Sale of goods act. Just proof of purchase.

Good to know thank you :)

I remember another company I got a headset from about a year ago now said they couldn't offer a refund/exchange for a working model as it wasn't in their T&C's, I pointed out that the law says other wise and they are not above it and in not doing so they are breaking it, They exchanged the headset for a non faulty one :)

Sp apparently because it's within 28 days I have to return it with it's original packaging even though the LAW states otherwise, Apparently OCUK are above it, Time to go to the citizens advice burea -_-

What about buying another keyboard then returning the old one in the second box?

All been sorted now, I got on the phone to them and the gent on the other end said "As long as you have the proof of purchase and the item the original packaging does not matter".

Seems some staff know more than others it seems :p
