Hi guys, just me again

on June 19th i sent back an x850xt for rma, as described in this thread

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7197293#post7197293

Its now the 25th July and ive still had nothing back, when i emailed the techies at ocuk they told me they were awaiting a delivery and i should be patient, but this is affecting my graphics development and such quite badly.

Do i have any rights such as an exchange for a card of equal value, as im currently running on a 9200 :( and its struggling atm.

Thanks for any help!

Over a month for an RMA.

Its a joke....

In fairness to OCUK though i've had one RMA with them and it took no more then a week in total.

Out of curiosity, was that before or after 28 days of purchase? I was told that >28 days means it goes back to the manufacturer and <28 days means OcUK will test and replace (if needed) themselves.

They told me the former takes four weeks on average while it takes a few days if they do it themselves.

it was after the 28 days, but its not a make of card that ocuk send off as far as im aware. Its powercolour and seen as it isnt on the rma list i presume they would do the testing themselves!

I did an RMA with ocuk and it wasnt exactly impressive.

each time i spoke to them they said they would check it right now, the next day the same, then the same the following day, then a weekend passed, then i gave up calling.

It was sat on a shelf for 5 days in the end. I dont mind the wait, its just being told that it will be dealt with today then lied to.

The 1st bloke i spoke to said the replacement card would be shipped the same day they actually tested and found the fault. Because they had none of the original in stock he would send me a BFG one instead. I have no brand loayalty so i said "sure whatever"

To my suprise instead of a replacemnt i got the money back.. which OFC ment another 2 days messing about reordering and repaying P&P.

Pain in the ass, but not the worst situation ever.

I sent an Asus AX800XT PE back on rma.
OCUk had to return it to ASUS.
It did take a month to turn around, but as there were no more X800's left, I had to have an X1800xt instead... :D

Can't complain really

Best money I ever spent on a GPU was £18 + VAT on the nvidia 6200 LE that has seen me through multiple 7900 GTX RMAs over the past three months :)

I was going to buy one of those for RMA purposes too! :D I originally bought a 9200SE PCI as my back-up card but it doesn't work with my system. :( Ordered the X300SE lol, coming tomorrow.
