Just a quick question regarding RMA policies.

Is it possible for me to RMA say a motherboard and get my money back for it instead of a replacement? (is there a time period after purchase where this is the case or is it just a no go?)

This isn't a specific question regarding OCUK its regarding any etailer, or is it infact specific to the shop?

I'm asking this because I want to buy a different motherboard instead of the one I've got because its gone wrong and I've read many stories about it.

Cheers

Hi

Under UK Distance Selling laws you are entitled to return any product purchased online within 7 days for whatever reason for a full refund on the condition that the product is returned to the company in the same condition it was sold to yourself

Its been about 10 days though and I'm sending it back due to it being faulty. (Bad Flash, even though I did everything correctly!)

I've just checked the OcUK support page and there's a 28-day direct from date of purchase section. I'm not sure how it will be under a dodgy BIOS flash though as I think it can invalidate warranty?

Probably best to phone them after the New Year holiday on the 2nd Jan.
