Hi XFXhd4850 problems...
I am currently having major problems with GSOD or BSOD with the above so i returned two cards to overclockers rma180752 rma180753 1 card was found to be faulty but the other was not they have the GSOD or grey screen of death bug but one was doing it more often than the other so overclockers kindly replaced one but please look at the following handling of the RMA boy was i supprised...
they replaced the card with a b grade 2nd hand item with 6months of dust in the fan.. so i contacted them with the following webnote...
I have been dealing with overlcockers for quite some time now but have never had the need to return anything to say i am dissapointed with the handling of the following RMA numbers would be a understatement. At the request of XFX support i was told to return my graphics cards to yourselves for new replacement. RMA180752 returned to me with no fault found after 2day testing, this card is faulty and is doing the exact same as my other card which was returned, only not as often as explained in a letter sent with the card.. RMA180753 has been replaced with a B GRADE ITEM which is 2nd hand as there is more dust in the Fan than the item i returned as i took the time to clean the items before returning.. To me this is totally unacceptable practice please advise as to what i am to do with a 2nd hand graphics replacement.. awaiting your response Thanks Samuel Peden

Dear Sir,
We have tested your card and found that it isn't faulty. We test according to XFX's guide lines therefore if it does not fail testing we cannot return it to them. I would suggest that you do a fresh install of your OS and try the latest 10.3 ATI drivers and see if this solves the problem. We can of course test the item again but again if we do not find a fault it will be returned to you.
The replacement card that you have recieved is the replacement that XFX have sent us. They send us the replacement we merely forward this on to you. The 4850 is no longer in production so therefore a new replacement would not be possible
what is going on with returns.. you have brand new cards on your site still for sale let me know what you think of this..
