I sorta need to deal with dodgy components, and since I've never actually sent anything by post before, I dunno how these things are usually packed...

I no longer have access to the original boxes or anti static plastic, so is there a particular brand that's good to get for packing electrical items?

Also what's the general cost of postage? As these aren't small things...

What is it you need to pack? If you are under warranty in most cases the items will get picked up from your home so there would be no cost to yourself. It depends who the components are with and how long you have had them.

All still in warrenty but I guess some warranties state specific periods for rma?

Pretty much everything is suspect bar the GPU at this point... Unfortunately I don't currently have the invoice dates with me atm, some may be over a year old though.

Your best bet would be check you order on Ocuk and see when you ordered the bits. Then contact the manufacturers. The likes of Corsair I have dealt with RMA 7 times and each time they picked the items up from my house. Evga has great customer service too. Benq Have onsite warranty on a lot of their monitors. Just check the warranty details on each item and the order dates. Usually RMA is sorted in no time at all.

Stick it in an anti static bag. You can buy a bunch for pennies off that auction site.

Pad the item with bubble wrap. An inch is normally sufficient.

Put the bubble wrapped item in a box, the smaller the better. If the item moves around in the box the fill it will more bubble wrap or scrunched up balls of newspaper.
