I recently returned a set of geil memory because i found it to be faulty, but it returned as not faulty  i have had the memory for about a year and ive always had problems so i bought another set recently and it runs without fault and i love it but as soon as i plug my old stuff back in memtest shows multiple errors and games either wont run or wont patch and it akways comes back with error codes that are related to memory.
How is it possible that the older set is fine when it gives me so many errors? does anyone know what test OC uses?
Do they test in dual channel or single channel as they ony give errors when running in dual channel.

I'll test them this weekend so i have the pictures then i will give them a ring and i will also ask them how they tested the memory as when i test them they are o.k on there own but running in dual channel is when i get errors.
I have found out something else which helps my side of the argument and that is that the SPD of the older 2 sticks is not what the memory is rated to run at, SPD should be 400 mhz but it is only 333mhz.
Could they have been miss labeled at source and they are creating errors because they are running out side of there recommened range? (400mhz)
