In Jan I purchased a Sugo SG05 case from another company. I purchased the case and components after reading through the SFF threads here. I couldn't build the case for about 3 weeks due to other committments but when I finally got round to it the case would power up for 10 - 15 secs and then go off. I had a spare PSU and tested the build with this and it all worked fine.
I then got an RMA from where I purchased it from and they duly collected it. A couple of days after that I received an email stating that no fault could be found and if I wanted further testing that could be done. In the meantime I made the pc in another case I had and it's still working fine.
A couple of days after more testing they said that still no fault could be found and that it would cost me £35 to get the case back (testing and courier fees). As you can imagine I'm a bit miffed as the case only cost me £50 to start with and I'm convinced that it wont work when I get it back.
I then wrote a letter to their Customer Services Manager and just received an email reply that just basically quotes their terms and conditions. Do I have any legal rights here in this case? If I pay the £35 and it still doesn't work do I send it back to them? They did say they would write it off and nothing would be charged but call me cynical cos I don't believe that would happen. One thing's for sure, I wont be using them again (and they are a big company) or recommending them to anyone.
Rant over
